What is the DAC Pack?

Founded in 2002 by a group of students that were passionate about Drexel basketball, the DAC Pack was instrumental in bringing a sense of spirit back to the student body. While the group started as a student section dedicated to Drexel basketball, we have expanded over the years to support for all the other Drexel sports including field hockey, lacrosse, and soccer.

Membership
General Membership
Being a part of the DAC Pack is pretty simple… We don’t force members to pay dues or put you through any weird initiation ceremonies. All you have to do is sign up to get your free DAC Pack shirt. When you get your shirt you’ll be added to the member list for that year. From there, it’s just a matter of getting your tickets to the games (all home games are free) and standing with us in the official student section of the DAC. You’ll also receive a weekly DAC Pack Newsletter in your email that gives you updates on the upcoming games and events.

Committee Membership
If you want to get more involved with the DAC Pack and help us plan stuff behind the scenes, then you can become a DAC Pack Committee Member. These committees serve to help the DAC Pack function in a various functions:

  • Ticket Team: Passes out tickets and flyers around campus to promote upcoming games and events
  • Game Day Crew: Helps with operations before, during and after a game. We frequently need help passing out shirts, giving out food, taking photos during the game, and more
  • DP Bulletin Staff: Helps with writing and design for the DP Bulletin, email newsletters, website, and promotional items
  • Roadtrippers: A group of people that enjoy hitting the pavement to cheer the teams on when they’re away from campus. We especially need people with cars that are willing to drive fellow DAC Packers when we travel without using a bus

Officers
During the first weeks of  each term we will recruiting for the DAC Pack officer positions. We are looking for people who show a passion for Drexel Basketball, and want to get more involved on campus. Candidates must be energetic, and show the potential to expand the organization. Candidates are preferably members of one of the committees, but it is not required. Contact any one of the current officers if you are interested in positions.
