The famous “it’s pronounced Mon-TAY” incident is what sparked our relationship with Delaware (sucks) head coach Monte Ross. In a game where the whimpering blue chickens were down by a lot in the final minutes of the second half, the DAC Pack got bored with the lackluster performance and started to chante “Mon-tee” “Mon-tee” over and over again at unibrow clad Ross. MonTEE had the nerve to turn to the DAC Pack and yell “For your information it’s pronounced Mon- TAY.” His mistake was throwing gasoline on the fire. Fun fact: our good friend MonTEE was once an assistant coach at Drexel, guess he didn’t learn the number one rule of Drexel basketball, Delaware Sucks.
